This build has everything you could ever want in a 4 man team. Lots of interrupts, degen, deep wound, ranged attacks, def buffs, big criticals, IAS, 25% running. These guys can cap alters very fast with RaO. Use a zealous spear and you won't have any energy problems. You can use a vamp as well.
Most people quit before I get 10 points
Currently using a boon prot monk hench.

Hi. After seeing your post, I decided to run a pack in hero battles. I did a little tweaking because I needed more healing. Same theory though.
I run Heal as One as the elite on the r/p's then I run a p/r for support with Song of restoration, Ballad of restoration, finale of rstoration, sig of syngery, go for the eyes, anthem of flame, charm animal, and comfort animal.
Not the best build, definately not unbeatable, but very strong none the less. All my R/p's use vamp spears, carry disrupting spear, and disrupting lunge. On my player run one I bring poinsonous bite , on the heroes I give them barbed spear.
Thanks for reminding me how much I like packhunters.

I have recently changed the build a little. This is a rather roll or be rolled team. Changed the monk to a healer's boon. My biggest problem is the AI waste a lot of energy on the pets. In hero battles they do not get dp so I hate it but nothing you can do about it.
I'll make the changes now.

I faced a similar build, I can't remember what I was running at the time, I think it was probably a blind surge, a monk and two thumpers but whatever it was the damage from this sort of build is insane.
The person I faced was using a P/r in the final slot, not sure of the build but I think that it was half damage half healing of some sort.

I faced this build, and it is indeed annoying and effective.

I'll agree that this is a roll or be rolled kind of build, it's like the 3 Searing Flames Ele + monk build. For starters there's no support character with hex or condition removal. A single spoil victor necro could shut down your entire offense. No support for your monk means he'll be dead in 10 seconds against any reasonably skilled opponent, and the rest of the rangers would fall just as easily. I'd much rather run this build using 2 P/R, P/W and a Mo instead. Give the P/W some motivation skills to support the monk and run Stand Your Ground on the R/P, that would increase your defense considerably.

The trick with this build is you do not attack their monks or defense first. You kill their offense.
If I see SS or SV I kill the necro immediately then roll the rest of the team. If my foe has 1 monk he's screwed. 2 Monks takes a few seconds to break through but perfectly possible. Majority of the time I get a kill within the first 5 seconds of the encounter.
Also learn how the AI monks. If you are having a hard time breaking the def you target a defensive character for a few seconds. This draws out all the monks prot. Then do a gfte and spike another target. It works every time.
Yes you can spike with heros

I've been running a similar build but instead of a monk taking a n/mo with something like:
martyr/healing wisper/healother/dwayna's kiss/OoP/deathnova/putrid/res
Keeps a blind bot from owning your team, keeps you up long enough against most builds to win and gives you abit of extra damage aswell as taking advantage of pets dieing (beats searing flame teams from death nova/putrid spam alone). Only downside is the necro will sac himself to death rather a lot :-P However there seems to be a lot of "killing the /mo = win" so you have no pressure on your offensive players allowing you to roll the team pretty fast.
You can do a pretty nice spike if you just call a target on recharge of the skills, some people called me lame for spiking with this which was funny as it is basically a pressure build.

this build is definatly not unbeatable...
i played this build earlier, while i was trying something crazy. i was playing 3 iway wars with an oov orders with extinguish, and faced it, the rangers collapsed and the monk fell soon after, leaving pets dead and me with all 4 shrines capped. i guess it was the fact that the opponent didnt know what he was doing while i capped the npc shrine that gave me the edge in a super pressure v super pressure build, but it didnt seem all that impressive, but i guess if you played it i would have a much harder fight.

Look like a ranged version of IWAY to me.
With one superior part to IWAY, it is ranged so NPC can't kite.
